Spring is Near

The sun is shining and the feeling of spring is in the air, which means spring craft shows are just around the corner. I love spring shows, the sense of excitement knowing that outdoor weather activities are about to start. Barbecues, farmers markets, wearing flip flops, laying in the hammock- to name a few. My first spring show is March 13 and 14 in St Louis, MO Indie Craft Revolution at Oak Knoll Park. Road Trip! Next up is Handmade at Blue House in Ann Arbor march 29th and Craft Revival in Ferndale April 17th. I am so excited!!

It's Friday!

Happy Valentine's Day! Today, I want to make a card for my valentine:) I have lots of construction paper and ideas...we will see what happens. I wish I crocheted, then I would make this lovely heart I saw on Craft Gossip. (www.craftgossip.com)

Inspiration

February is about the time I start daydreaming of warmer weather, this year is no exception. I love the snow but was inspired by pictures of the beach today. Vero Bracelet is brass and patina. The patina is a bright turquoise that reminds me of Vero Beach, FL where my family has gone since we were kids. Only two more months and we will be there! Bring on the sunshine, cook outs, and pina coladas.

Monkeys are Cute

These adorable monkey prints are so cute. Having a baby shower for a dear friend in a few months, her nursery is monkey themed, so these little guys will be perfect. Cheers 2010!

Cheers 2010! The last show of 2009 was a great success. It was intimate, filled with wonderful people, and even snowed a little in Chicago to give us holiday spirit. I spent a few days in Philadelphia welcoming my new nephew and sending quality time with the fam. What more can you ask for over the holidays?
