Upcoming Shows!

My first trip to Austin was a blast and Renegade was filled with creative and friendly peeps! The show season is in full swing. Next show is Constructor Craft Fair in Berwyn, a western burb of Chicago, June 6th. June 12 is Indie-ana Handicraft Exchange in Indianapolis, IN and June 18th Art Meets Craft in Pleasant Ridge. Before the busy month, I am heading to Mexico for a week! More info on shows to come.

Everything's Bigger in Texas?

I am about to find out! My brother Craig and I are road trippin to Austin this week for the first ever Renegade Austin. Looking forward to the show and visiting friends! I made a TON of metal pieces and a few new displays, pictures to come.

It's Almost May!

When I look out the window waiting for my kettle to heat up, I am greeted with lots of green. This makes me happy. May is just around the corner! Almost time to plan the garden, plant flowers, and hope for a warmer month. It will be a busy one with shows and a trip to Mexico to finish the month off. Show Line up: Flint Handmade Spring Craft Market this Saturday, May 1 with 5 locations! Renegade Austin May 15 &16, SEOA Arts and Crafts Fair May 22 in Ferndale. Happy Spring!

Craft Show Review

The Handmade Detroit's Craft Revival last Saturday was a great event! I met new people and saw some familiar faces, which is always fun. I shared a space with Amanda from Dang Argyle (www.dangargyle.com) near the "forest", an area with sky lights, handmade wood benches, tress, and a DJ...very cool. Our table was next to Caitlin from Nice (www.nice.etsy.com) a Chicago crafter with beautiful items. My purchases- handmade towels for Mom and a wine bottle cover with a cuckoo clock for myself, all from Lish Dorset (http://myvintagekitschen.com/). The Loving Touch was a perfect spot and thanks to Handmade Detroit for another awesome community event!

Spring show time is in full swing! The much anticipated Craft Revival is only two weeks away! I am very excited, I love all things Handmade Detroit, the people, events, vendors...you name it, I like it. Monday in March

It's been a while since I went to a show and NPR just informed me that She and Him are playing at the Royal Oak Music Theater and I want to go! Today is the day for spring items with lots o color, stay tuned. Off to Philadelphia tomorrow to see my niece and nephew! The weather is going to be lovely and I can't wait, I see lots of Sponge Bob in my future and I like it:)
