People's Art Festival at the Russel Industrial Center (www.ricdetroit.org) was a great event. I met tons of great people, artists and attendees. The creativity in Detroit always amazes me, thanks to the organizers! I did a trade with For The Foxes (www.forthefoxes.etsy.com) and love her jewelry.
Michigan's landscape is as diverse as the people and culture and that is why I love it so! Within a weeks time, I will have camped in the wilderness of the Upper Peninsula and participated in an awesome festival in downtown Detroit. I dig it. The People's Art Festival at the Russel Industrial Center is this weekend- Sat Aug 28 and Sun Aug 29. Maker Faire was amazing! After much anticipation, the weekend was a blast filled with innovation, awesome arts and crafts, and happy campers. Detroit brought it with the first ever Maker Faire, 20,000+ people came. One of the Craft Faire highlights was Leo, Detroit GT's crafty bus.
