DIY Street Fair in Ferndale equals a fun filled crafty weekend. The beer garden was flowing, music jamming, and the people awesome as always. I had a blast sharing space in the Handmade Detroit tent, many laughs with good friends. I purchased and traded some fantastic goods, one of my favorite parts of fairs.

Renegade-crafts, food, and fun.
Thanks to everyone who came out to Renegade! I love participating in this fair. Heading back to my old stomping grounds, seeing friends, and a kick ass craft fair! The first stop of the weekend was dinner at Lilly Q's BBQ on North. The BBQ was insane, I would recommend the pulled pork with Carolina sauce and the beer selection was stellar. Renegade started off to a rainy morning but the sun came out and stayed out all weekend! The iced coffee horchata, friendly shoppers, and amazing artists made me a happy camper. Two Loyalty and Blood shirts, a Campfire Goods shirt and a "Shit I burnt the Potatoes" dish towel are now mine:) Up next, DIY Street Fair in Ferndale. I am so excited to share a space with some uber talented and awesome ladies. Swing on by booth 76 for some crafty fun. Stay tuned for wish list pics for DIY. It' s all weekend in Ferndale behind the WAB, check it out! www.diystreetfair.com

Detroit Soup.
The more I learn about the creative community in Detroit, the more I love it. Detroit Soup is a monthly dinner funding micro grants for creative projects. Located in Mexican town the first Sunday of every month, you eat and learn about creative projects happening in Detroit and then vote on which project to fund with the money raised from the meal that night. Sounds great to me! I learned about Detroit Soup from Nicole of Sloe Gin Fizz (www.sloeginfizz.etsy.com) thanks Nicole. Find out more and take a peek at the beautiful photographs on their website, I added a few above. www.detroitsoup.com

Renegede Chicago Next Weekend
The 8th annual Renegade Craft Fair is next weekend on Division St in Chicago!! I will be participating this year and sharing a booth with the talented Caitlin Peters of Wanderlustings. Her work is whimsical, feminine, and so beautiful. After admiring her pieces online, seeing them in person and sharing a space with her will be a blast. Check out Caitlin's work at www.wanderlustings.etsy.com
